Saudi Pro League Club Dominates MLS Opponents

Inter Miami's 2024 preseason tour took a disappointing turn as they suffered a humiliating 6-0 defeat to Saudi Pro League club Al-Nassr in a friendly match in Riyadh.
The defending MLS champions were completely outplayed by their opponents, who scored six unanswered goals to secure a dominant victory. Anderson Talisca opened the scoring for Al-Nassr in the 10th minute, followed by a penalty from Otávio in the 51st minute. Aymeric Laporte added a third goal in the 73rd minute, while Mohammed Maran completed the rout with a late brace in the 68th and 81st minutes.
Inter Miami struggled to create any meaningful chances throughout the match and their defense was repeatedly exposed by Al-Nassr's attacking prowess. The MLS club will now look to regroup and improve their form ahead of their upcoming MLS season opener on February 25th.
Al-Nassr, on the other hand, will be buoyed by this impressive victory as they prepare for their upcoming Saudi Pro League campaign. The Riyadh Season Cup will continue on February 3rd with Al-Nassr facing Real Betis of Spain.
